Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for the post, meet the minimum eligibility criteria like nationality and age as well as qualification.

  • Nationality/Citizenship Criteria 

        A candidate must be either

  1. A citizen of India, or

  2. A subject of Nepal, or

  3. A subject of Bhutan, or

  4. A Tibetan refugee

  5. A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries (Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia), or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Note: Candidates fail in 2 to 5 categories in case of failure to submit a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India at the time of appointment.

The age limits for SSC MTS and Havaldar as per the requirement board.

  1.  Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS): 18 to 25 years
  2.  Havaldar                          :  18 to 27 years

  •       Educational qualification

The candidate must pass matriculation (10th class) from a recognized board, university, or institution. And there is no need for a minimum percentage required.

  • Click on “New User”; after registering, your login credentials will be created.
  • After login your account, upload a photograph, signature, and relevant documents.
  • Pay the application fee.
  • General/OBC: ₹100
  • SC/ST/PwD/Female: Nill
SSC MTS& Havaldar selection process:
  1. Exam for both MTS & Havaldar.
  2. PET&PST only for Havaldar.

Exam pattern:

The computer-based exam is common for both MTS and Havaldar. In this exam there are two sessions; the first session is only for qualifying, and the second session is to meet the cut-off.
