  : The portal consolidates information from 14 central ministries and 9 state departments, encompassing over 17 flagship schemes such as the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund, Animal Husbandry Infrastructure Development Fund, PM-KUSUM, and PM Kisan Sampada Yojana.

• Focus on Women Empowerment: Includes provisions and training programs aimed at empowering women in agriculture, aligning with the government’s commitment to gender inclusivity in the sector.

India Wins Presidency

India has achieved a significant milestone by securing the presidency of the International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS) for the 2025–2028 term. This marks the first time in the IIAS’s 100-year history that India has assumed this prestigious leadership role, and notably, it is also the first instance where the president was elected through a ballot process.

When and Where: The election took place on June 3, 2025, in Brussels, Belgium.

• Who: India’s candidate, Shri V. Srinivas, Secretary of the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG), was nominated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in November 2024.

GST Collections

In May 2025, India’s Goods and Services Tax (GST) collections reached ₹2.01 lakh crore, marking a 16.4% increase compared to ₹1.72 lakh crore in May 2024. This sustained growth follows a record high of ₹2.37 lakh crore in April 2025, indicating robust economic activity and improved tax compliance

BharatGen Summit 2025
